I am a sole practitioner living and practicing in Cashmere, Washington. In 2002 I received the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA) Award of Merit, the WSBA’s highest honor given for long term service to the bar and/or public. In 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004, 2008, 2009 and 2010 I was named Washington Law and Politics Super Lawyer. I am a former member of the WSBA Board of Governors. Evolving over 36 years, my practice now focuses on real estate, estate planning, business and mediations. Over the past 17 years, I have served on a variety of committees and task forces dealing with the unauthorized practice of law, access to justice and related subjects. I presently serve on the executive committee of the Northwest Justice Project. I formerly chaired the Practice of Law Board, a Board appointed by the Washington State Supreme Court. I am also past chair of the Real Property Probate and Trust Section of WSBA and the Alternate Dispute Resolution Section of the WSBA. I am a graduate of Stanford and Lewis and Clark Law School. I enjoy spending time with my four grown children and four young grandchildren. Running, biking, hiking and gardening are pastimes that take some of my free time.
